Ellie and Denny Petrov passed the paddle to new owner, Sarah Phinney, in late 2023 after successfully growing and nurturing Salty Dog Kayak Rentals for three years.
Sarah is a water-loving, former local tv personality who is an American Canoe Association Certified Level 2 Kayaking Instructor.
After leading kayaking tours, and hauling kayaks, all over the Tampa Bay area, she’s thrilled to now call Salty Dog Kayak Rentals and Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park home.
When she’s not paddling the park, you can find her hitting the trails with her spunky group of walkers in Sarah’s Walking Club.
